Inside Vehicle Lifts

Inside Lifts are mounted inside the cargo area of your vehicle and raise and lower your mobility device to the ground. A Hybrid Lift is mounted inside the cargo area of your vehicle. It moves out and down to the ground so the mobility device can be loaded onto the platform and is automatically lifted into the vehicle for safe and secure transport.

To properly use a Hybrid Lift, you should have the following capabilities:

Stand for 3 minutes while your lift operates
Walk from the front to the rear of the vehicle and back
Drive or push the mobility device on and off the platform
Fold down the seat back of the mobility device until it is in its most compact position
Apply pressure to hold down a button on the hand-held control while the lift operates

To properly use an Inside Lift, you should have the following capabilities:

Stand up for 3 minutes while the lift operates
Walk from the front to the rear of the vehicle and back
Attach docking device to mobility device (may require bending over, adequate hand dexerity, balance and strength)
Apply pressure to hold down button on the hand-held control while the lift operates
